Ya, just got a pair of them. They seem to be working great so far.

Which store did you go to, specifically?

I regret to inform everyone that travel plans did not work out for the vendor, so he will not be attending.

Just a reminder for everyone to bring a watch. One possible scenario has a "bleedout" time that you will need to track, and for the others it will be useful to know how much time is left.
Edit: And a repeat reminder to bring and drink water. The latest forecast removed the chance of thunderstorms but bumped up the temperature.

Which store did you go to, specifically? Amazon.com, but I would not be surprised if you could find them at Cablea's or Schelds.

Ok, just so we are clear on the mortocross waiver, everyone under 18 needs page 4 and everyone 18 and older needs page 3, right?

Correct. I will have about 6 copies of the waiver at registration if anyone needs them. It is most convenient to print your own and fill them out in advance. It saves everyone time.

Ok, I am signing off for the night. I will check e-mail and the forum tomorrow morning around 0500. After that I am going to be on the field for setup, so I will probably not see any online communication. If you urgently need to contact me, try my cell. I may have it on me in the morning, but I will not be carrying it once the game starts. I should also be carrying a radio in the morning set to channel 1, so try that if you need to get in contact with me.
Tomorrow's high still is a rather bleh 88F, but the forecasted trend shows it peaking at that around 5PM when we should be done for the day, so things should be more comfortable around noon when the heaviest fighting takes place. Partly to mostly cloudy, which also helps. Weather.com shows a 30% chance of isolated T-storms. The game will continue unless we spot lightning. If that happens, we will pause the game and wait to see if it clears. We have been lucky historically with Rice Paddy, and it looks like the weather odds favor us again tomorrow.

Rekkon, Thanks for putting on another event in our area. The kids and I had a blast. It was well run, except for the late afternoon heat, but I don't know that you have much control over that.
Tony, I hope your injury isn't too bad and that you heal up in time for your next event.
Alpha11, thanks again for your support of this event. Hope to see you next year, or sooner, perhaps at Twin Valley.
