Can you specify what you mean by radio channel 1/2/3/etc? In amateur radio we use frequencies. Too bad I didn't bring that stuff with me though...

There is the possibility that a small airsoft vendor will be on site. I have recommended that he bring BBs, barrel blockers, wire mesh lower face masks and M16 midcaps. If there is anything else you would like him to (at this point theoretically) bring, feel free to chime in.

Wow. That's new. Maybe, if he donesn't mind, one or two of his cheaper guns, so they can be shown to the new guys, to show that you don't need to spend 200 to 300 plus to buy a gun, and it can still look and fell real. So I'm talking 150 or less or as close to it as possible. Also, for the game, I think you should mark you clips, just in case you need to share with someone when they run out, which could happen in the 2nd phase for the US. That way there is no confusion.

The vendor is still tenative; it was just a happy coincidence that he might be able to attend.
I do not believe they carry sight protectors, and with the relatively short notice, they probably do not have time to order in anything they do not already have in stock. Apart from specific requests, he will probably only bring the staple supplies that are most likely to be needed.
It is always a good idea to mark your magazines. If nothing else, you might drop one on the field, and if someone finds it, some identification will help it get back to its owner. The chrono station will be marking high caps since players are limited to one of them.

Here is the map of the field. A road marks the northern field boundary. To the west is highway 59 and railroad tracks running parallel to it. Do NOT cross the railroad tracks. Aside from the obvious safety issue, using the tracks as our border provides a distance buffer between us and the highway. The eastern boundary is not as rigidly defined. As you can see on the map, there is a strip of forest along that side of the motocross track. The eastern edge of those trees is the boundary. You will not want to go there in any event. It is largely devoid of cover and rather marshy. The "swamp triangle" is the large area in the northwest corner of the field. This area is basically solid brush and historically has had 2-6 inches of standing water in many places. This area *is* in play, however none of the missions or scenarios will require you to enter it. It sucks. I should know since I have slogged through it twice, but you are free to use it should you so choose.

OK, I will have 2 walk ons, 2 others will be walk ons. Any others that might be walk ons? And please remind people, that the game is THIS WEEKEND, NOT NEXT WEEKEND! Several people said they got confused last year (sorry, but I'm still having a hard time buying it, if you can't come, just say so, even if it is last minute).

Just a reminder to start drinking water. For a while it looked like we might luck out with a mild Saturday, but now it is looking like a warm one. Everyone should be bringing at least a gallon per person.
Also, if you are on the US team, please bring a radio. We are going to make more use of them this year.

Can you ask the guy to bring some radios? I don't have one.
Or, could you advise where I could buy one? It would have to be a physical store at this point.

Radios are not required, just useful, so I should have phrased that "please bring one if you have one."
I do not believe the (still potential) vendor carries radios. A good walkie talkie from Walmart or the like would be adequate. Airsoft fields are typically not so large that you require anything crazy powerful.

You can go to any sporting goods store and get a good set of motrolla talkabouts for around $30. They will be fine for the game at hand
