The under 18 face mask rule was added to bring the eye/face protection rules up to official Minnesota Airsoft Association safety standards. I am a member of the organization now, and this is a pretty standard rule across Minnesota and Wisconsin. I am willing to bend it by allowing an under 18 player to wear acceptable eyes-only eye protection plus a wire mesh face mask. I have one wire mesh lower face mask that I can loan out.

Yes, but you are not the insurance company that other fields have to appease.

You have a PM Alpha.
Rice Paddy at the motocross has hever had more than 25 players (set a new record this year ok?). I think the one at Twin Valley was in the 30s, and I seem to recall Overlords capped at around 50. It might be location if nothing else. There are a lot more people within X miles of Fargo than within the same distance of Thief River Falls.

I'm excited for this... so excited that I spend a ton of money equipping myself (I am a new player). The weapon I chose seems to shoot slightly over 400fps (405-420) according to some YouTube videos, but other sources say around 360-380, so can I assume that adjusting the hop-up to make it less efficient will make it a legal weapon if necessary? Also, right under "Overview", you misspelled reinforcements as "reenforcements." Also in a couple of other places, but I'll let you choose whether to use your browser's search to find/replace(fix) them. Questions about rules: - About the magazine restrictions, perhaps you should specify that the OR is EXCLUSIVE or?
- The passengers/driver of the Huey, how do kills/deaths apply to them? IE: can someone alive ride the Huey, and the rules surrounding that?
- How would multi-bang kills (3+ people) work? If 3+ people walk right over your position, what should be protocol?
- When someone dies with supplies (ammo crate), how does stealing and respawning on-site correlate?
- Can supplies be stashed in backpacks/gear (out of sight) while carrying one?
Update: Just paid my pre-registration fee. I forgot to state that I wish to be on the US team, since I bought camo clothing. Also, I will need to purchase a kill rag and barrel-blocker (the links you provided are sold out), so please reserve one of each for me P.S. For a radio, could we use our cell phones with a walkie-talkie app? Although I doubt many others would have this capability.

As with any make and model of weapon, there is some individual variation, so what really matters is what the gun in your hands chronos the day of the event. Any weapon will chrono a little higher without hop up because the hop up turns some of the BB's momentum into angular momentum. Being a grammar Nazi, I appreciate people pointing out my errors, but it is my understanding that both "reenforcement" and "reinforcement" are valid, though most spell checkers only seem to recognize the latter. I would have to dig to find out if it is a less preferred variant, an American-British English difference or something else. Answers: - Most people that airsoft are not software engineers, so a regular language "or" usually suffices to get across the point that you can have one or the other but not both.
- The pilot of the Huey lives and dies as part of the Huey. If he dismounts, then he is treated as a regular player. Live players can ride the Huey, as detailed in rule 4.1. Obviously you have to be carrying a live player in the gunner position for him to fire.
- It is unlikely that you will find yourself in a position to bang kill three or more people. If, however, that happens, you should retreat (or stay hidden until they walk away) beyond 10 feet and shoot them normally or throw a grenade. If would be preferred *not* to bang kill two of them and shoot the third as this could result in confusion and arguments, but it would technically be a legal action. Keep in mind that bang kills serve a courtesy function. If you walk past a bush, oblivious to an enemy player, and he bang kills your back at 11 feet, you should not pull out a tape measure to check distance and refuse to accept it. In the heat of the moment, people can and do make erroneous judgement calls with regards to bang kills. If that happens, you are expected to talk things out in a civil manner like adults.
- For this Rice Paddy, neither side will be stealing the other's supplies. If you are carrying a unit of supplies, you will either pass it off to a live teammate or carry it with you (dead) back to the supply's point of origin. Once there, you will respawn and attempt to move that unit of supplies again. Unlike years past, I do not want you to drop supplies if you were shot.
- Unless you bring some ridiculously large backpack, the mortar crates will be too large to fit. The ammo cans are smaller, so yes, you could carry one (and only one) in a backpack if you so desired.

The Falls Moto Club website appears to be down. I will speak with my contact about it on Monday. Ultim8f8, I would appreciate a copy of that link in the meantime.

Oh, I overlooked one of your questions. Yes, you may use a cell phone with walkie-talkie app if you so desire as long as it does not interfere with any of the regular FRS radio channels. Generally I recommend that people do not carry anything on the field that they are not willing to potentially lose or have take a BB hit, but that decision is entirely up to the player.
