I'd like to give a big thanks Rekkon for putting this event together. Duncan, Scott and I all had a great time meeting and playing with all of you. We were impressed at the level of play and sportsmanship you all exhibited.
I had fun during all of the scenarios but I think the second one was my favorite. The Americans took the firebase in part or in whole at least a couple times (maybe even three) making for a great back and forth battle. I thought the gunship was great it gave the Americans a distinct advantage both mobility wise and with the harassing firepower but it didn't seem over powered. (I think Jeremy may have had the most fun that day).
Already looking forward to coming back up next year, hope to see you all then.
Cheers, Chris (Andre) Monahan

I want to thank everyone who participated in Rice Paddy this year. It was a great event and not as one sided as it had been in the past. First and Second scenarios were great, and the third was good. In the third scenario the US team didn't seem to want to penetrate deep into the woods to search for us VC, so there was less contact then anticipated. Which worked out well for the VC team, but decreased the amount of action that many of the players crave. The "huey" adds a whole new dimension to a scenario and can really be annoying to the VC.
Special thanks to Rekkon for organizing this event and coming up with different scenarios every year to keep the game new and exciting!
Hope to see you all next year.
