The others that attended in period German kit were from my WWII unit. One was from Wisconsin; the others from the Cities.

No, it is a long drive for them, and they were not overly impressed with Overlord. They only attended because it was WWII themed. It was hoped by attending in full impressions we could attract more members to the WWII group which did not happen.
However, 3-4 of my friends from the Cities have said they will be coming up for Rice Paddy. They also happen to be in my WWII group, but that is not why they are attending.

As long as I get to play airsoft, I'm happy.

It was like this last year, wasn't it. No one really signing up until the last couple of weeks.

Except for certain big ops like some of the Lion Claws series, pretty much all airsoft events are like that. Few people register early; most in the last few weeks.

Feh, you are not late. I try to get my events posted two months ahead of time. That is long range range planning in airsoftland. And just to be clear, you are not signed up until I have monies.

I should be able to be there, sorry about the late sign up. Well, there's one more at least. (Ya, money, but you know what I mean.)

Great news! It looks like I'm going to bring, including me, 11 guy! Hopefully you will start seeing them paypaling you soon. If they all come, and everyone else, we might get 20+, maybe even around 25 people this year! YYYYAAAA!!!!!!

Cool cool.
I added a "Where Needed" roster to the main post. People will be moved off this once I (hopefully) get more registrations and get a better idea what the team numbers will be.

FINNALLY! One of they guys who is going with me register. 3 down, 8 to go. The funny thing is, he is the one with the least able to go on line. Still not knowing what's taking the rest so long. I'll be bugging the rest in the coming weeks to do it.

Alright, after reviewing the rules again, I saw that it required players under 18 to wear full unmodified paintball masks. I recently bought a pair of full seal ESS Profile goggles, and do not own any paintball masks. If anyone has a spare mask, I would be open to using it. I do understand that there is risk with not wearing face pro too, but I am hoping that wearing the full seal eye pro will suffice. Thanks.

The rules will not be changing. I have been bringing them more in line with the Minnesota Airsoft Association standards. Players under 18 must wear an unmodified full-face mask. It does not necessarily need to be a paintball mask (that bit of text is out of date and will be updated next year). For example, the Save Phace airsoft masks would be acceptable.

If I can make it I will bring a spare mask with me. Those save phace masks are junk.
