EEK!!!
The last time I saw one of those it blew my ass up!
Very nice though, looks to be a 155 round or so.
Though these canister could be anything that we wanted to be honest. And I was thinking the "shells" as in the canister that they are shipped in.

Probably. My stepdad brought it back from a hunting trip on some target range. I checked to make sure it was completely hollow before using it as a prop. Still frakking heavy though. Just ask the Rice Paddy players that had to haul it last year.

That would make a good prop.
I was thinking of doing the same with these cylinders.... making them heavy as all heck. Fill them with concrete and what not.

What dates in July would work for everyone?
I am thinking that July is going to be the best for the 24 hour game. That way it isn't blazing hot at night, but not ball freezing cold either.
July 13-15 I have drill, was thinking the weekend after that.

Military Simulation We are trying to make this as close to real as we can, of course minus the real bullets Depending on how old you are there may or may not be a restriction, but if you have a parent that is willing to play as well, then I am sure we can get something to work. We will be needing someone to "fly the helo" and be a ref at the main base. So if you have a parent that would be willing to do that, then we may be able to let you play, though again age dependent. PM me the info and I will get some info to you.

What kind of age limitations were you thinking? And for reference to current projects, what kind of FPS limits did you have in mind?
I was looking over the rules and was wondering about the part with medics and I had a few questions. So basically if you get hit and the medic can't get to you, your just out with no respawn available? When you say carry, I'm guessing you mean basically just be accompanied by another person and not the literal definition right?

So basically if you get hit and the medic can't get to you, your just out with no respawn available? When you say carry, I'm guessing you mean basically just be accompanied by another person and not the literal definition right? The age limit to play by yourself in Minnesota is 14. Beyond that I do not think we have made a decision on age limits yet. The respawn system is intended to be severe, not nonexistant. If you die, you will get back into play, but the delay will be on the order of hours, probably 1-2 depending on game situation. If you are unwilling to wait that long or to roleplay an injury (perhaps for the entire event), this is not the event for you. This event would be for the patient that want a highly realistic experience, not those that just want to sling plastic. No, I meant literally carry. Most events have a "carry rule," where you can move wounded by putting a hand on their shoulder or whatever. This is not one of them. If the guy can hobble, you can give him a shoulder. If he is full unconcsious, you have to physically carry or drag him. If he is too heavy, too bad.

I agree with the last part, but be safe about it. If you have to travel though a really steep area, the wounded can walk, but at a very slow pace. If you are on flat ground, then yes you have to carry the person. This will only be allowed if there is no other way around the hazard. If you can go around then you are required to go around.
