Since others have asked me about it, I figured I would post the events that are "on my radar" for this year. Feel free to add your own. Where a current link is not available, I have included one to last year's event.

May 31?
Newfolden, MN
$20 (preregistered), $25 walk-on
My yearly Vietnam-themed event. Restrictions are such that just about anyone should be able to play. 20-ish players typically, though I bring a bunch of props and special weapons. Past events have included traps, mortars, landmines and ATV “helicopters”. Might have a new and interesting surprise this year. Details subject to change. Date has not been finalized, but the 31st is the current frontrunner.

Freefall VII
July 12-13
freefallgame.com/
Poynette, WI (Apoc)
$35-40
Big game based on the Firefly TV series. This is NOT a typical airsoft event where you run around shooting constantly. This is a LARP. If all you want is trigger time, attend something else. If you want to roleplay, think on your feet, create your own goals, try to make money in the ingame economy and generally do your best to survive, Freefall might be for you.
Operation Northern Light

MAA Airsoft Missions
August 23
Big Lake, MN
$100-150 per team
The Minnesota Airsoft Association is looking into running an “Airsoft Missions” event this year. It would be similar to that old Combat Missions TV show. Basically people would register as teams and run through a variety of scenarios against dedicated OpFor and be scored against each other. We do not yet know for sure if this will happen, but if sounds interesting to you, save the date, get a team organized and keep an eye on the MAA board.
