This is just a rough draft. And there will be things added as time draws closer.
Water points
There may be more than one water point on the field of play. At these points there will be a case or two of water bottles. These bottles are to be "non potable" ( IE not safe to drink ).
In order to be able to drink the bottles each team will have a different way to be able to drink the water.
US..... pour into camel back, or other water container ( these have water purifiers in them to be able to drink from them )
Op-for...... will need to take the bottles back to their camp and then "heat treat them" for 20 min. We will have a container that you place the bottles in for the 20 min.... after which time you can drink from the bottles ( after they have been marked by a ref )
Rekkon brought up a very good point regarding this. Being as this is going to be a 24 hour game, everyone should have enough water for the event. We don't want to mess with people getting dehydrated or anything like that.
Landing points
There will be a few designated drop points that the "helo" will be able to land and either drop off supplies, or pick up wounded. If a team needs something dropped off in another area, the item will be launched to somewhere around the area. And it will be up to the team to figure out where and how to get the equipment back to camp.
Cary items
Water bottles.................. 4 bottles from person, when carrying the bottles you will not be able to use your weapon.
Equipment ................. There will be handles on equipment containers, if there are two handles two people need to carry, if 3 handles then three people.... you get the idea
Props ............. These will be dependent on what the prop is, some you can carry, and others you can't. Any prop that you are carrying you are unable to 1. use your weapon 2. run ! You are required to walk with the prop to not only keep you safe, but also our prop.
"Iffy items"
Lasers ..... I am working on a prop to use as a laser designator. If this is used, the laser is NOT TO BE SHINED AT ANYONE! This goes for any weapon mounted lasers as well.
Knifes ...... I am really iffy on this one. Depending on the age of the players that we have at the game, as well as the type of knife. If we do allow them to be used, you are going to have to keep it in a pack, and unable to get at quickly. This is to keep it from falling out and stabbing you or anyone else. These will only be able to be used to clear items, or add to your camo. If caught using for any other means you will be removed from the game, as well as the authorities getting called.
Medic Rules
Commandos
This team will have a designated medic that will be able to treat the "messier" injuries. These will include IV, meds, pills, any other major items.
Each person will have a "med pouch" that they are able to use just once. This can either be used on yourself, or a fellow person in the game. Though once this is used it is gone.....unless you can get one through a re-supply.
Op-for
This team will not have a medic per-say, but will be able to get the wounded back to camp, in order for the leader to fix the wounds.
Op-for are only able to tie a bandage on for a short time, and they will only have said amount at the start of the game. If they are able to find more through out the field they may be used.
When a player is shot they must go down and play wounded. If you are shot in the arm or leg you can not use that appendage. You must then tell the medic what is wounded and he will patch you up, but you are still unable to use that body part.
If a player is shot in the upper chest/head area they are dead instantly. Your team however may choose to leave you or carry you to a landing point, for the helo to remove you from the field for a set amount of time. After which you will be able to be air lifted back into the field of play.
The medic will have to be hands on the player for atleast 30 seconds to heal the player to fighting condition.
If the medic is unable to get to you in 3 minutes ( this is also in effect if a pesron is moving you to a safer area ), you are considered to have bled out and must lay there for 7 minutes. So a total of 10 min will have to pass before you can get up and reassemble at base.
To move a player one team member must have a hand on the person at all times. And the pair is not able to run! The wounded player is unable to fire rounds or call out enemy positions.
Radios
Channel 1 is to be used for REFS and EMERGENCES ONLY
Commandos may use any other channel that they want, and may have as many radios as they need.
Commandos may use any type of add on they want while using the radios.
Op-for may have 2 radios, and may use any channel as well.
Op-for are only allowed to use the radio, no mics or any special add ons.
Pyro ( we will decide if we can use as the time nears. If to dry, we will not allow smoke to be used in anyway )
Smoke colors
This is to be used in an emergency situation only. If anyone sees red smoke call "INDEX" and try to help where you can!
All other colors are ok to be used.
Be aware of where you are tossing the smoke, to make sure that you don't start any fires or damage to anything or anyone.
Respawns
Looking at ideas as of right now. But they will probably be set in the hour to two hour range. While you are "dead" you will be asked to either roam the field as a civilian, or help with other duties durring the game.
Sleeping areas
If you want to bring a tent, please feel free to do so. But you do so at your own risk. We can't be held responsible if your tent gets a hole or is damaged in anyway.
A tent is the ONLY place that you will be able to remove your eye protection! And this will only be allowed if the tent is closed up and nothing open. There is to be no blatent shooting at tents or shooting out of them.
Fires
There will be none set on the field of play!
The only exception will be a burn barrel that we will use for the night portion of the game.
Age limits
15-17 will need a signed waiver from there parents.
14 and younger will need a waiver as well as a guardian with them on the field.
All other rules that we normally have will be enforced during the game as well.
Price
I am thinking right around the $20-25 range. This will be due in advance to make sure that we have the numbers for the game. If we don't have the numbers for the game, the money will be refunded. But once registered you are in, we are not going to allow people to back out of the commitment ( there will only be a few exceptions to this rule). This is to ensure that we have 100% commitment for the game.
For those that are required to have a parent or guarden to play let me know and we can make a better rate for those. If you are over the age limit, but your parent wants to play, they are going to need to pay the fee as well.
