Hey, would anyone be willing to borrow/rent out a gun? I have a friend who's gun broke and it would be great if he could use one. If not it's no biggie.

Yeah, its a crappy springer and he doesn't know where it is. It's fine if you don't, I just know the Jamestown guys wanted to rent out their guns but they won't be here this time.

We may have a few spares that could be use..... as long as he doesn't mind using a shotgun or anything..... though my shotgun is feared among a few players.

Possibility of some rain tomorrow..... come ready to play.
We will play rain or shine, so bring wet weather gear if you need to. We can still run drills and get some trigger time.

You didn't miss much brute........
Everyone please read the Rules for the game that are now posted on top of this topic.
We are going to really REALLY get serious about the rules, as we are seeing the same people cause problems. And we don't want the people that are playing by the rules to quit, or not come to the games because there are a few that don't want to follow the rules.

I'll start off by first saying that I read the rules you just posted. If you want rules to be in place, you should probably tell the players when the game starts. As for not calling hits, there was a lot of that on your side as well. Alen told me that the last time you guys played, you ignored all of the rules that you were instructed to and continued to do so. Back to rules, you literally told us nothing. You did not introduce yourselves, tell us any game info, or anything. We showed up, unpacked, and one of your players walked up to me and said: "We're going out there to defend, come and attack us." I specifically asked him what the rules were, and what boundaries we had, and he specifically told me there were no boundaries, and it was one hit out. This mis-communication was not our fault as you guys were acting as hosts(since you invited us, you make the rules. I understand that it is not your land, but if you want us to follow your rules, tell us them.) When you called game, Alen and I were in the woods, and our other remaining guy was in the woods on the other side of the road ambushing one of your guys (who didn't call his hits). Maybe you saw the dead players and thought they were us? I don't know. What I do know is I strongly suggest using kill rags from now on. Furthermore, the attitudes of some of the players seemed hostile and unwelcoming. I'm not sure what made that the way it was, but I assure you that we showed up with the best intentions. In conclusion, think the second game went well once everyone understood the rules. There needs to be a more adult solution to a bad round than just pointing fingers and blaming our players when they weren't informed. Thank you to those guys who were polite, and were having a good time. I'm willing to give this another shot.

1... The game started at 1, and the rules were gone over then, if you missed them then that is your fault and not ours. You need to show up on time and ready to go. We showed up on time, and we are not going to wait for you to show up when you want, and then expect us to cater to you and your group. 2. What rules did we ignore? You mean the ones that... oh wait again were said when we started at 1, and everyone else decided to show up at 2-230? Again not our fault you can't get to the game at the proper time. 3. Who on our team was cheating and not calling our hits? You want a list on your team on who wasn't calling their hits? Because remember that I am looking at you though a scope, and can see the bb's hit and fall to the ground. And lets not mention the flinching and looking around after getting shot 4. Again the rules were gone over at the pre determined time.... again 1. 5. We were in the middle of a drill when your guy walked through the middle, mind you with no eye pro, and was trying to get everyone's attention. 6. The moods were fine by my side, because we showed up at game time, again 1, and were ready to play. We got there ready to go and ready to play. Anything else that you want to try and discuss please do, because we would all like to know what is going on. And I can vouch for every player that was with us...myself, dekker, bert, bob, most, how2, and trevzor... and we were all calling our hits. You need to take a long hard look at your guys, and make sure that they come ready, and willing to play at the pre described time. Because again, we are not going to wait for you to play. If you are unable to make it to the game at the set time, don't expect us to wait and cater to you.

I think it would be good to all try to show up on time, but if people are showing up late it's better to let them know what the rules are so that everyone is clear and we can have a good day of playing. I know this is the second time we have had a large majority of players show up late, if you guys can't make it at that time weigh in and maybe we can change it! This isn't something many of us get to do very often so it's important to us we get all the playtime we can (at least for me anyway). As Woogie said I think that if a game is going on players arriving late should wait until the game is over. As for calling hits I can see there was frustration on both sides but simply telling people to call hits probably isn't going to fix it unfortunately. For those people that don't call them, yeah it really sucks but all we can do is keep shooting and hope they call. Best way is that if you think you're hit call yourself out, there will always be another game.
One thing I seem to notice happening a lot is we have two predefined groups that always end up on the same teams which I know its fun to play with your friends but it seems to create resentment toward the other side which makes it hard to have a good game when one side is just grumbling about the other. The simple solution is to switch teams up and pick different people if you get the opportunity to pick teams instead of just picking everyone you know.

We actually showed up at 1:10 because there was a slight delay, but we're here to play a game, not be inducted into the hall of fame. We got there and there were absolutely no cars parked in the normal lot, as you all decided it was okay to ignore the sign that said no motorized vehicles and drive around the fence. After waiting for you guys, we decided to finally walk back there and see if you were back there, and apparently you were "training". It's not my guy's fault he walked into your exercises, as we were not aware that you'd just start them. And about you scoping at me and "hitting" me, I can guarantee that the one time I was hit, I called my hit. So instead of degrading my teammates by insinuating that they are all insubordinate, you should give the benefit of doubt before making accusations. Like M.O.S.T. said, if we show up late it doesn't mean that you should expect us to know the rules. Especially when I specifically asked them and was returned with nothing. I also agree with M.O.S.T. on the idea of switching up teams, but as I heard from the last event there was some foul play with the radios and I'm not sure that will work with the attitudes that are at hand now. But if you're too good to accept partial blame for the mis-communication that happened today, I'd rather not play with you at all. Someone with an ego like that is very likely not to call their hits, and I don't like to play with dishonest people.

I agree with M.O.S.T, that we should have switched up the teams some. Also If I was a little crabby near the end of the game i am sorry, I was mad about tripping on the barbed wire fence. I hope the next time we play together things go over better.
