That could most likely still work for me.

I vote go with breedland rules with 550 fps for BASR and Semi only AEG's (eg, my DMR) with only one allowed per team

No. Same rules as always. I want full auto.

He means the DMR and sniper classes. Regular (400 FPS or less) AEGs would remain full auto.

DMR = generally an AEG that is locked into semi only via methods that require major disassembly to change. On one of my DMR's its a bolt hidden by the lower that stops selector plate movement, on my SR-25 the lower has a stop on it that keeps the selector switch from going into full auto (requires removal of gearbox to change selector with the cutout for that stop).

It is unlikely I will allow DMRs up to 550. There needs to be some advantage to running a bolt action.

the advantage in my eyes is price and simplicity running a BASR over a DMR.

I would do this. What are the rules and regulations?

That is kind of like saying the advantage of using springer pistols is cost. While technically true, it does you no good on the field. The rules for last year's Rice Paddy can be found here. They will likely not change much this year.

Ok, June 8th is now out of the running. It is down to May 11th, May 18th or June 15th.

So far, any of those dates will work for me.

Likely rule changes for this year: *All participants must be 14 or older (previously under 14 could play with a guardian within sight of them at all times). *Sniper weapons may chrono up to 550 FPS with .20g BBs (previously 500 FPs).
Possible rule changes: *Explicitly disallowing wire mesh eye protection.

Any closer to nailing down the date?

As much as I would prefer not to run it the weekend before Breedland, May 18th is looking like the most probable date. For those planning to attend Breedland, I would like to know if this would cause a problem.
