Ok guys
After talking with riptyn, it sounds like we may have a CQB area that we can use. We are more than likely going to go out to the area and talk with the locals and make sure that we would be able to use the area for airsoft games.
When thinking about this I keep coming back to the zombie game idea that was posted a few threads down. Figured a CQB zombie game would be great fun. Especially if we can get some prints of the area and plan some fun things around certain areas.
So how many of you guys would be interested in a CQB area, that is close to the Fargo area ?

I would definitely be interested, it would be great to have a place that we could get to fast and play more often. If it goes through, I would be willing to help setup anything.

Sounds good man.
Hopefully here in a few weeks Riptyn and myself will try and get up to the area and see what we can't get worked out.
We will have to set up some rules for play in a CQB area.
Typical seems to be around 350 for weapons. Flash lights would be ok No lasers ( due to possible damage to players )
Anything else you guys think we should look at let me know.

That is a good point brute, did not think about that.
We are looking at a school that we may be able to play in, but we would be the only ones that would be able to use it. I am going to talk to Riptyn here in the next few days and see if we can't get a day picked out where we can make a trip to the building and talk to the locals around the building as well.
If we are able to use it, I would like to have at least one game a month if we could. Change up some game types and have some fun over the winter.

This sounds cool! I've been wondering resentely if there was any indoor places for airsoft. I just gogled and couldn't find any in Min. Is there any?

I am not sure if there are any in Mn or not. You might be able to talk to Rekkon, as I think he is active over on the MAA boards and may be able to give you some insight on this. Though ours will be just outside of Fargo.

Around somewhere Don't want to give it away just yet. I want to make sure 100% that our group will be able to use the building when we want. Don't want to get your hopes up

Didn't 702nd airsoft army used to have a cqb field around Fargo? Or am I thinking of a different group?

I believe they used to go to the unused school where acres of terror or some halloween event went on at. But they used it for haunted santa in the winter, and 702nd wasn't able to go back. I think they disbanded after that. Just what I heard though.

They used a school down in Leonard, but no this is not that same school.
I personally know the owners of the school and have heard that it was not just because of the last game there, it was from on going items. I am not sure if the 702 guys are still around, but I do hear that some of them have had some major surgeries and what not so they don't play all that much.... BUT.... they are always more than welcome to come to any of the games.

What do you mean by "we would be the only ones able to use it"? I hope that doesn't mean Fargo residents only. Super interested though. Also, is it something we could heat and use during the winter?

No no no no that isn't what I ment.
I was talking about our group for airsoft. They wouldn't want other groups of people going through and trashing the place and causing problems.
